Paul, who originally found us from an advert we placed on Face Book, asked us the question if he would be [...]]]> We are pleased to announce that AGSL completed the first disabled flight simulator experience in February 2012.  Paul Dunstan managed to fulfil a lifelong dream of being able to fly a heavy jet airliner.

Paul, who originally found us from an advert we placed on Face Book, asked us the question if he would be able to use a flight simulator.  Paul is a paraplegic, and he already holds a PPL, which he obtained by going to a flying school, and getting a ‘rudder adaptation’, and as such, wanted to take the dream that one step further.

After talking to us, and much communication with the Training Centre, it was agreed that we would try and make this work, and as such, Paul had a 3 hour experience with us on a Boeing B737NG fixed base flight simulator at Southampton, and is still talking about it!!!

We at AGSL were so pleased to be a big part in organising this for Paul and to realise his dream..  We hope that this inspires others in a similar situation, and would be more than happy to talk to you if this is something that you would like to accomplish.
